Description

Highly motivated Technology Trainer to be part of a team responsible for the design and delivery of personalized and group training of firm personnel on all firm technology systems and software, with assigned new hire training responsibilities for multiple firm office locations.  This position is responsible for proactively delivering classes and associated instructor-led classes through coaching, eLearning, skills assessment and other technology methods that may be in use using all firm hardware and software to facilitate classroom and distance learning with a personal approach.


Duties:
•        Conduct new hire or rollout training via stand-up or web-based delivery for each of the core firm applications
•        Facilitate training for new technology initiatives
•        Maintain training information, learning plans and calendars in our Learning Management System
•        Assist with the creation of in-house training documentation, and customizing vendor documentation to meet firm and departmental standards
•        Create eLearning videos using Captivate, SnagIt or other video editing tools
•        Maintain knowledge in training, technology, and educational delivery methodology
•        Be a subject matter expert in specialized applications as needed or assigned on specific technology
•        Use Incident Management System to properly document and escalate issues as they are observed or reported
•        Collaborate within the larger TSG Training team, as well as extended TSG organization to ensure the highest level of customer support and    resolution
•        Serve as liaison between staff and the technology department to resolve issues
•        Assist with the quality assurance process for new technology
•        Provide support for internal clients, technology and AV/VC setups

Required Skills/Qualifications:
•        5-10 years of experience facilitating technology training in a law firm or professional services organization
•        Familiarity with document management systems and other legal applications
•        Excellent verbal and written communications skills
•        Strong presentation skills
•        Advanced level knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office suite on a Windows platform
•        Bachelor's degree from an accredited university of college (comparable work experience will be considered)
•        Time management and flexible organization skills
•        Strong desire to learn and implement new technology

•        eLearning development using Captivate, Camtasia, Storyline, SnagIt or other authoring tools
•        Willingness to be flexible, especially in the following areas: overtime, offering suggestions and working in a team to resolve problems,           performing   tasks not specifically identified in the job description, and assuming responsibilities as the needs of the department evolve
•        Ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team
•        Professional demeanor
•        Able to organize and track progress of projects
•        Understand and apply standard levels of learning measurement and evaluation
