Project Manager:

Company is looking for project manager to support our client. The program manager will provide leadership, supervision and management of a team for application systems development and implementation. Acts as the central point of contact with the contracting officer, contracting officer’s representative and project managers. Responsible for the management of all work performed by contractor staff and subcontractors on this project. Communicates and coordinates with the contractor’s project managers and other contractors regarding the status of various tasks and the issues facing the project teams.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following):

  • Oversees all aspects of projects
  • Sets deadlines based on government requirements, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project
  • Prepares reports for PMO manager regarding status of projects as directed
  • Manages project schedule, cost and quality using approved project management tools such as Microsoft Project
  • Manages the development leads and ensures that all SDLC and PMLC deliverables are completed on budget and on schedule, meeting or exceeding customer expectations
  • Plans and manages all project related communications
  • Participates in PMO process improvement initiatives and programs
  • Report to PMO/PPM manager
  • Provides technical oversight to project team
  • Responsible for enhanced client user satisfaction of mission critical business processes and service


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in customer service, account management required
  • Experience working with Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services is a Plus
  • Experience working NLP and text analysis is a plus
  • Experience managing projects using earned value management methods
  • Four-years plus experience managing multiple software development projects
  • Four plus years using Microsoft Project
  • Experience managing projects using PMI/PMBOK management framework
  • Experience in implementing and managing work using Project Portfolio Management solutions
  • Experience with HHS/NIH Enterprise Performance Life Cycle (EPLC) Framework a plus
  • PMP certification required
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Bio-informatics and/or health care IT experience a plus
  • Expericne working with COTS products is plus
  • Experience working with Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services is a Plus
  • Experience working NLP and text analysis is a plus
