Digital Workplace Engineer
The Digital Workplace Engineer is an integral part of Firm’s Technology team. This role will be
responsible for leading large scale software or hardware deployments and coordinating to ensure
solutions are implemented consistently in office throughout the firm, while managing the design,
and coordinating the installation of various workplace solutions including occupancy &
environmental sensors, meeting room displays, and digital signage systems for the firm. Acting
as “Subject Matter Expert” regarding these solutions. This role will be located in either our
Manchester, New York or our Global Services Office located in downtown Los Angeles. Please
note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-
office presence.
Other key responsibilities include:
Identifying opportunities for enhancing security systems including access controls
systems, event management systems and smart board/collaboration technologies
Coordinating with the audio visual engineer the installation of video walls and other
multi-media wall installations including identifying and managing third-party content;
assisting audio visual engineer in design and support of firm AV systems including room
control systems, digital projection and conferencing systems
Utilizing your technical creativity to identify and implement additional enhancements and
new software solutions for our legal professionals and administrative departments
Developing, testing, documenting, and maintaining default system configurations for
smart office technology
Working with the firms audio visual and videoconference teams to ensure consistency,
compatibility, and defining firm standards
We’d love to hear from you if you:
Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in a wide variety of software programs,
including Microsoft Windows Enterprise, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel
and Outlook)
Possess knowledge and proficiency with administration and maintenance of relational
databases used by supported applications
Exhibit knowledge of Rest API’s and API Development; possess knowledge of database
tools including SQL Management Studio
Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency of remote communication methodologies
And have:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or appropriate work experience
A minimum of four (4) years of experience in a PC hardware and general applications
software
A minimum of three (3) years of experience with digital signage or other smart
technologies
Experience with enterprise audio-visual systems and conference room technologies;
experience supporting a large, multi-office environment
